Feast Week Celebrations

Please make every effort to attend our liturgical celebrations during our Feast Week. We will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption Mass on Tuesday 15 August at 9.00am in the Parish Church. This feast day remains as one of our few ‘holy days of obligation’.Our second Mass for this week will be our 50th Anniversary Commemorative Mass. Emeritus Archbishop Hickey will be the main celebrant for this Mass. This will be at 10.00am in the Parish Church, and will be followed by morning tea in the Parish Centre. Classrooms will be ‘open’ should you and other guests wish to have a walk through the classrooms. Our Year 3-6 students will be attending this Mass.On the Friday of our Feast Week (18 August), we will have a FREE DRESS DAY! This is ‘real’ free dress, no coins involved! We just ask that children are dressed to suit the weather and have closed in footwear. Our fabulous P&F Association will provide us all with a Sausage Sizzle lunch – again, this is a ‘no cost’. We are in awe of the things that our P&F do for us! In the afternoon, we will have a ‘movie’ afternoon – teachers will arrange a movie for the year level to watch together.
