School of Rock ‘n’ Rainbow – School Disco Tonight!!
Yay! The School Disco is on tonight and we just know the kids are going to have a blast!
To make sure the night runs smoothly for you and your child, please take note of the following:
- Access will be through the Church side Crosswalk Gate only
- Check in will be at the Parish Centre. Parents can stay to socialise in the “Parent Lounge” where tea and coffee will be available for a Gold Coin Donation
- At Check in, the children heading into the first Disco session will have a wrist band given to them for access and to note a contact mobile phone number. Please let “Check in” staff know if you will be staying with your child in the Disco area
- Older children will have their names ticked off and given an access stamp
- The children/parents will be escorted to the Disco area when their session is about to commence
- In the last 10 minutes of each session, all parents are welcome to dance with their children
- Any remaining children (ie: the parents haven’t joined them in the last 10 minute dance time) at the end of each session will be escorted back to the Parent Lounge
- The Annual Year 6 Dance Off will be in the second session!
- There will be a Door Prize for each session!
- Don’t forget to bring extra money for items on sale eg: Glow merchandise, Food, Drinks, Ice creams!
- Food for sale from the canteen will include; pasta in a cup, pizza by the slice, chicken nuggets, donuts, ice creams and lollies
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle – Sunday 17 November
Calling all sausage slingers and sellers! The P&F Committee will be running a sausage sizzle at Bunnings’ Morley store on Sunday 17 November. All proceeds from the sausage sizzle will help us continue to fund new equipment for the school. If you would like to volunteer for a shift – each shift will run for approximately two hours – then please email the P&F Committee.
Cards that Count – Celebration Cards
We are so happy to be bringing back Cards that Count for all of the creative kids who want to design their very own cards! Last year the initiative was limited to just Christmas cards, but this year they can let their imaginations run wild creating birthday cards, Easter cards, thank you cards or any other celebration card they like! More details on this great activity will be coming home soon!
