OLA Parents and Friends Association 2020 Wrap Up

2020 really has been a strange year for all of us and one in which our best laid P&F plans were also turned on their head!

Although our major fundraiser, the OLA School Fete, had to be rescheduled to next year (October!) and social distancing meant we couldn’t hold our usual parent events, we still tried our best to raise funds for the school’s refurbishments of the Curiosity Lab and the Veritas Library Hub; and we’re excited to announce that the P&F has made a donation of $15,000 to the school to put towards these refurbishments!

Thank you for making this possible by supporting our raffles, footy tipping, entertainment book sales, school book label sales, school banking and this week’s Subway lunch. Thank you also to the wonderful Year 5 parents who organised the School Disco, as well as the parents who worked on our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, provided food for World Teacher’s Day and attended Fathering Project Events.

This year we say a fond farewell to outgoing P&F President Natalee Cunningham, who has given so much of her time to the school over the past four years, and we warmly welcome Magda Bartucciotto and Ann-Maree Barbaro to the Executive Committee for 2021.
