Prayer to St Matthew

O Glorious St. Matthew
through the grace of God
Our Father you gave us the Holy Gospel,
which brings us joy and life.
Inspired by your example,
We ask for your assistance
in all our needs.
Help us to follow Christ
and remain faithful to His service.

Amen

NSI School Climate Surveys

As we continue to review our school, processes, programs, Strategic and Annual School Improvement Plans, all community members are invited to complete a survey (see attached flyer). Students, in Years 3-6, as well as all staff, will also be invited to complete the surveys. Data received from the surveys, as well as other sources, will be used to plan our strategic direction, for 2020, and beyond. Hard copies are available, at the OLA Administration Office. The closing date for the surveys is Friday 18 October 2019 (first week back in Term 4).

Dance Concert

Last week you would have received an email regarding dance costumes for the upcoming concert on Wednesday 25 September at 2pm. Families are asked to please have the costumes ready for the performance date, with all items labelled as children will be changing throughout the day. It is hoped that parents will have these items at home and not need to purchase anything new. The information letter is attached for you.

CECWA Policy Development Process – An Invitation to Have Your Say

The Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia (CECWA) is reviewing our system policies supporting our 75,000 students and 12,000 staff in 162 schools.

We invite all students, parents, CEWA staff and members of your community to help by telling us:

What makes a good Catholic school?

Facilitated sessions will take place at our Leederville office.  You can book your preferred session time online and choose from:

* Early Years LOFT Sessions (for Pre K – Year 4 Students and their Family)

* Open LOFT Sessions (Years 4 – 12 Students, Families, Staff and Community)

During the school holiday sessions, participants will also help to create a mural alongside local artist Linzi Carter.  This is an evolving creation, whose form will develop with each session.

We welcome you to participate in this unique opportunity to have your say on the future of our schools.
