CPSSA Swimming Carnival

The CPSSA Swimming Carnival is just around the corner. We will have one final training session at Chisholm College Pool on Wednesday 8 May. Thank you to all of those swimmers who have attended so far. Please note that the new swimming caps are available in the Uniform Shop at a cost of $10. I am also chasing two more timekeepers who could give an hour to fulfil the role. Thank you to Mr Dropulich, Mrs Suckling and Mrs Bolton who have already offered. Students will be required to be at school at 7.40 to meet Mr Morris in the Sr. Goretti Hall. The bus will depart at 7.55 sharp.

Running Club

Running Club commenced this week with 42 students running. An awesome effort for our first week! Running Club is from 8.00-8.20 at Waverley Reserve every Tuesday morning. All students and parents are invited to run, jog or walk with their friends as they complete laps around the pond.

Tag Rugby

As our Year 4 students started their Tag Rugby unit of work for this term, we were lucky enough to have a clinic delivered by Coach Grant from the Western Force. Students learnt the difference between a rugby ball and an AFL ball, some of the rules for Rugby and practised their evasion skills in two really fun games.
