OLA Community Fete – next Sunday 24 October
Less than 2 weeks to go – who’s getting excited?
Here’s what we have planned for our biggest fundraiser of the year:
- Amusements
- Animal farm
- Class stalls
- Food trucks
- Local business stalls
- Live entertainment
- Silent auction/ raffles
- Canteen – selling drinks, popcorn, lollies and fairy floss
VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED – HAVE YOU SIGNED UP?
We still have a number of spots open to help man the amusements, silent auction, canteen and class stalls. In order for the fete to run smoothly, we need every OLA family to lend a hand on the day. Please put your name down to help man a stand or attraction. All we need is 45 minutes of your time (while the kids run-a-muck).
Volunteer rosters have been placed outside the office (PK-Y1 rosters are outside the classrooms). Alternatively, please email pandf@ola.wa.edu.au and let us know what time of the day you can help. We’re also looking for anyone available to help with set-up on Saturday afternoon 23 October.
LAST CHANCE TO ORDER DISCOUNTED FETE DOLLARS & WRISTBANDS
This is your last chance to pre-purchase money vouchers at a discounted price, to be used at selected stalls and amusements on the day.
Choose from the following packages:
- $20 fete dollars for $18
- $30 fete dollars for $25
- $40 fete dollars for $32
- $50 fete dollars for $38
We’re also pre-selling wristbands for $50 each, which will give one child unlimited access to spider mountain, the climbing wall, bungee trampolines, warrior obstacle course, jumping castle and dunk tank.
Forms must be handed into your classroom teacher or the front office by Thursday 14 October.
