Containers for Change at OLA

Together with the Year 6 Sustainability Ministry Group we are launching Containers for Change at OLA.

Every year in WA we use 1.3 billion drink containers. But we can save them from going to waste by collecting and recycling the containers we use at school or at home.

How you can help?

Bring in your clean eligible containers and drop them into the designated bin located outside the school office.

We’ll get 10 cents for each container returned. Most glass, plastic, aluminium steel and paper-based cartons between 150mL and 3L are accepted. You can also drop off your containers at any container refund point using our school scheme ID number C10445411.

All funds raised through the Containers for Change at OLA program will go towards our P&F fundraising efforts.

OLA P&F Easter Fun Raffle – Final Tally

There were big smiles all-round from our lucky Easter raffle winners. A huge thank you to everyone for their generous donations and to the class reps for coordinating the prizes for their classes.

We’re pleased to say the funds raised from the Easter raffle came to $1156. An amazing effort by all! The money raised will go towards the refurbishment of the Veritas Library.
