Woolworths Earn and Learn
OLA is pleased to be participating in the Woolworths Earn and Learn program again. Last year the Sports Department were the lucky recipients of a variety of great equipment. Place your stickers in the box in Dianella Plaza or in front of the school office.
The OLA Community Needs You
A P&F Association is managed by an Executive Committee (Nat, Narelle and Katie at OLA!) and made up of all the parents and guardians at the school. If you can fill one of the Parents and Friends roles below, please contact the Executive Committee at pandf@ola.wa.edu.au or come along to the next P&F meeting – Tuesday 21st May, 7.30pm in the Staffroom.
P&F Secretary: The P&F Secretary role is now available. Part of the Executive Committee, this position involves creating the meeting agenda, writing minutes from the meeting, liaising with class reps to distribute information and supporting other committee members with event planning when needed.
Bogan Bingo: On Friday 14th June the P&F will be putting on a Bogan Bingo night, where parents and friends can get together to raise money for the kids and have a great time as a community. To ensure a successful night we need a few people to help rustle up some prizes and to set up the Sr. Goretti Hall – including the Bar! – leading up to, as well as on the day of the event.
Project Manager – OLA School Disco 2019: It’s the best night of the year for our kids so if you would like to coordinate this fabulous event or can help with putting it together please let us know asap! We don’t want the kids to miss out on their favourite dance party and time is running out!
Project Manager – OLA Community Fair 2020: In 2020, OLA would like to run a school fete, which involves each class, school families and the wider community. To make this happen we require a project manager to take charge of the event.
OLA School Fete Committee Members: Committee members are needed to support the work of the Project Manager.
