Dear God
Gracious God, in the busy-ness of my day, I sometimes forget to stop to thank you for all that is good in my life. My blessings are many and my heart is filled with gratefulness for the gift of living, for the ability to love and be loved, for the opportunity to see the everyday wonders of creation, for sleep and water, for a mind that thinks and a body that feels.
Amen
Tennis Racquet Presentation
On Thursday, we were lucky enough to have tennis legend, John Fitzgerald, visit OLA to present our Pre-Primary students with their tennis racquets. It was wonderful to see the students have a hit with John and listen to his experience playing tennis for Australia. Thank you to Mrs Stewart for coordinating the event and providing our students with this opportunity. Please refer to the Sport page of this newsletter for more information about the visit.
Oliver Performance
Congratulations to our Year 5 students and teachers who took part in this year’s Performing Arts Festival at the Morley Recreation Centre. The students performed ‘Oliver’ and were magnificent!!

School Banking
A reminder that School Banking on Friday mornings has moved to the old Uniform Shop, located opposite Pre-Primary.
ICAS Assessments
This year, the ICAS Assessments have moved to an online assessment. As this is the first year that UNSW has administered the tests online, there have been some delays with assessments being released via the ICAS platform. The testing window has been extended to allow for this to be resolved. If you have selected for your child to participate in the assessments, they will still have the opportunity to do so. All assessments will be conducted within the allocated timeframe as outlined by ICAS.
