Senior Cross Country
On Tuesday, students from Years 3-6 competed in the Senior Cross Country event at Light St. We were very blessed with perfect conditions for long distance running. Year 3 completed the distance of 1.2km, Year 4 completed the distance of 1.5km and Year 5 and 6 finished 2km. It was so lovely to see the determination on all faces to finish the course. Our overall faction champions were Veritas with 485 points. Congratulations to the medal winners listed below and to those children who will represent OLA in the CPSSA Cross Country Championships on 30 July. A reminder that Cross Country training (Tuesday and Thursday 3.30-4pm at Light St) is still open to all. A massive thank you to all those parents who were course marshals throughout the day and to the army of mums who stayed behind and helped pack everything away.
