Harmony Day
We celebrated Harmony Day by wearing orange or our national clothing. There were many children who wore their special clothes with pride and when asked, they were able to explain where they came from. Classes participated in discussions about the theme, “We Belong”. They viewed PowerPoints, read books, created art and craft and enjoyed the day. Children also played games, practising inclusivity and demonstrating RESPECT: our current RICE value. It was fabulous to see all the students enjoying the variety of Harmony Day activities. Please be sure to have a look at the Harmony Week display of children’s work in the Administration Building. Well done, everyone.

Gardening at OLA
The Year Six Sustainability Ministry are super excited about our newly planted garden beds. We met to discuss what and how to plant – capsicums, peas, beans, tomatoes and carrots. Off to a great start!
