OLA Community Fete Postponed
As you are no doubt aware, we have had to cancel this year’s Community Fete, in the best interests of the health of our families and greater community. We are so grateful to the wonderful parents, families, Chisholm Students and businesses who supported the event, and we are so pleased to announced that the Fete has been rescheduled to Sunday 21 March, 2021 – let’s hope that 2021 is our year!
We will provide more information later in the year. In the meantime, please join us on the school’s Facebook page for a special Facebook Live raffle draw this Friday at 2.45pm, where the winner of the trip to Fiji will be announced. Don’t worry, there’s 12 months to use the holiday, and we’re all going to need one!
You can also keep supporting our fundraising efforts by purchasing tickets to win the vintage Louis Vuitton bag. Tickets are $20 each and only 100 are being sold. Please email pandf@ola.wa.edu.au
And finally, a big thank you to the wonderful Fete Committee. Led by Deanna Marocchi and Nat Cunningham, the committee included Katie Catena, Lina Brunini, Karen Lione, Magda Bartucciotto, Donna Allder, Gina Bastian and Si Lam. They have all done a wonderful job and have promised to steer the ship again next year – we can’t wait!
Notice from CommBank School Banking
The health, safety and wellbeing of our communities and our people is our first priority. Due to the rapidly developing situation with coronavirus, School Banking has been temporarily paused from 20 March 2020 until the start of Term 2. Please don’t bring your deposit book with your weekly banking into school and we will notify you when banking will recommence.
Footy Tipping at OLA!
So, the Fete and everything else we had planned is cancelled, that means that our beloved AFL Season (however long or short it is!) is going to be even more special to us! Make sure you join OLA’s Tipping competition so you can help us keep fundraising for our Veritas Library Hub and Curiosity Lab refurbishments. It’s only $50 to join and it will make those crowdless games all the more interesting, while you’re watching at home.

Payment can be made by bank transfer to OLA P&F – BSB 066016 Account 10008898 or you can leave a cheque/cash in an envelope marked Attention: Cath McGrath at the office for me to collect (please ensure your name is also on the envelope).
If payment is received by the commencement of Round 1 you will go in the draw for a wine/glasses gift pack valued at $45.
